Every question the app can answer
The summary is free. Then ask one of these. Each page shows what the question does and what a result looks like.
- Source Trust Check Checks a site or offer for credibility and scam warning signs. Pick a Check Type (Quick, Standard, Detailed) and a Focus: general trust, fraud signals, reviews or privacy.
- Search for Related Sources Finds credible articles around the same topic so you can leave your filter bubble. Set the Focus to supporting sources, opposing viewpoints or a balanced mix.
- Translate the Text/Website Translates the page or your text into your selected output language, keeping the original structure, tone and meaning intact rather than paraphrasing it.
- Quick Summary (TL;DR) Boils a long article or pasted text down to its core message in a sentence or two - ideal when you only need the gist and have no time for the full read.
- Extract Insights or Opinions Separates opinion from reporting in editorials and commentary. Set the Focus to bias, to expose slant and framing, or to opinions, to collect the stances being argued.
- Summarize Text/Website Condenses the page or your text without inventing anything. Choose the Depth (Short, Normal, Detailed) and the Style: bullet points, easy-reading prose or purely factual.
- Extract Key Information Pulls the hard details out of the content and lists them plainly. Set the Focus to facts, people, dates, locations or figures to get exactly the ones you need.
- To-Do List from Content Turns an article, email or plan into concrete tasks in a sensible order. Choose the Structure: a summary list of the key steps or a detailed breakdown of every action.
- Generate Social Media Posts Turns the page or your text into a ready-to-post update, written in the tone and length of the Platform you choose: Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram.

From the developer
I built Link Insights because I kept doing the same thing by hand: copying a link into a chat window, typing out what I wanted to know, waiting. After nine months of using it on my own links I still do not trust it blindly, which is probably the right amount. It tells me what the page says, and then lets me ask the second question I should have asked in the first place. If you try it, tell me which question is missing.
Which question is missing?
Tell me what you would ask a link. Every suggestion gets read, and the ones that come up often go on the list.
On the list
Questions we are looking at. No promises, no dates.
- Explain contract clauses in plain languagePlanned
- Myths and misleading impressions around a claimPlanned
- Both sides of a topic, with the weak spotsPlanned
- Fact-check the claims in a YouTube videoPlanned
- Meeting minutes and action items from notesPlanned
- Explain a complicated page simplyPlanned
- Quiz questions to remember what you readPlanned
Questions and answers
Is it really free?
Every link gets a free quick result, within a daily limit. The full version, as a monthly subscription or a one-time purchase, adds longer texts and bigger allowances. Prices are shown in the App Store, in your currency.
What happens to my links?
The page text, or the text you share, goes to our server and on to an AI provider that writes the result. There is no account, and our server does not log prompts or answers. The app keeps a history only for links; text you paste or select is not saved. The privacy policy has the details.
Which devices and apps work?
iPhone, iPad and Mac. Link Insights appears in the share menu of Safari, Chrome, Flipboard, YouTube, Mail, Notes and any other app that can share a link or text.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. Results are AI assessments, not facts and not advice. Link Insights says when it cannot check something, but anything that matters still deserves your own look, especially before you pay, sign or share.
Which languages does it speak?
The app and this site come in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese. Results can be written in more than twenty languages, whatever language the page is in.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. Purchases go through Apple, and you can restore them on any device that uses the same Apple account.
Does it work offline?
No. Fetching a page and writing the result both need an internet connection.
Who makes Link Insights?
